Learn new songs, share your favorites, and write a song to meet a need in your classroom.
Singing is an amazing tool for all ages. Whether you are looking for songs to help children move through transitions, songs for special events, or everyday songs just for fun you will love this 2 hour in person training. This workshop will be an interactive journey with moments for listening, sharing, learning, and creating. You do not need to have a "good voice" to join this class. Singing is for everyone!

- Having a song for every occasion is a great way to move through tough moments in the day
- Singing supports co-regulation
- I will teach you some of my original songs
- There will be a song sharing circle to learn from each other
- Break into small groups, brainstorm moments in the classroom where singing might be helpful, and write an original song of your own to meet that need
* This training is registered through Northern Lights at the Community College of Vermont. All early educators and afterschool professionals in VT will receive 2 hrs of professional development credit.
