Understanding Highly Sensitive and Neurodivergent Children

Friday, November 13th 10:30 - 12:00

Boulder Public Main Library - Boulder Creek Room

Learn from the parent of a neurodivergent child about inclusive practices that redefine what family home life can look like. This workshop is for parents and caregivers who want to examine old practices and co-create a new paradigm in which every family member’s unique needs are met. Practices taught will emphasize autonomy, authenticity, and flexibility.

Some topics covered will include: The Medical Model vs Social Model, Universal Design, and Pervasive Drive for Autonomy (PDA)
