The Seven Essential Life Skills Introduction

Discover the seven essential life skills every child needs to succeed! 

Following the work of Ellen Galinsky and her book Mind in the Making we will meet for this 2 hour introduction training. Learn why executive functioning maters and how to create developmentally appropriate games and activities that promote executive functioning of the brain. This is the introduction to the seven module course outlining the 7 essential life skills every child needs. This course is oriented towards adults who work with children ages 2-12. We will cover a broad spectrum of ages and developmental phases/abilities. We will also work with multiple aspects of adult learning and look at our own executive functioning skills as teachers and parents.

* This training is registered through Northern Lights at the Community College of Vermont. All early educators and afterschool professionals in VT will receive Professional development credit.
